Vaidence AI is a clinical application that handles protected health information on behalf of the care organizations that deploy it.
- Encryption: clinical records are encrypted at rest; all production traffic is served over TLS. Clinical messaging uses end-to-end encryption.
- Isolation: every document, question and answer is scoped to a single patient workspace; cross-patient access is technically prevented and audited.
- Auditing: access to patient data is recorded in a tamper-evident audit log, including the clinical justification for each access.
- No location tracking: the product does not collect device GPS or track physical location — this is an enforced, tested boundary.
- AI boundaries: AI answers cite the patient record they draw from; egress of clinical data to external services is gated and logged.
